ESCHES is Robert Summerfield, german-born vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, with roots spread out across the upper peninsula of Michigan and the greater Chicago area.
His songs transport a distinct minimalism, paired with lightness of vocal texture. The imagery draws outlines of loss and hope, of questions left in the blue and of craving yet to be resolved.
The musical style can be placed somewhere between emotive songwriting and mellow R&B.
With everything in a constant state of reveal, ESCHES can best be described as a careful approach towards honesty and self.
